Escalate Disputes have teamed up with the Merseyside and North Wales branch of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management for a Credit Management and Collections Industry overview. 

The event will discuss several key topics to help Credit Management and Collections professionals expand on their knowledge and skills, whilst providing valuable learning and networking opportunities. 

Hosted at our offices at Exchange Station, Tithebarn Street, Liverpool, L2 2QP on Thursday 14th September, the event will take place from 12-2pm, and includes lunch. The day will finish with networking and drinks at a local bar. This event is open to non-members as well as current members, and is a chance to find out more about the CICM. It’s free to register, but spaces are in high demand and filling up quickly.

The power of networking | 30 minutes

Head of Strategic Relationships at the CICM Luke Sculthorp FCICM will give an overview of the organisation’s educational and training offerings, followed by a talk about the power of networking. 

This opening 30-minute session will emphasise the importance of broadening your professional development horizons, and establishing yourself amongst like-minded professionals. 

Insolvency: What’s going on? | 20 minutes

Esteemed industry experts Oliver Collinge and James Linton from PKF Littlejohn – part of the global PKF network of accountancy firms – will discuss the latest insolvency updates and trends. 

As corporate insolvencies continue to reach record-levels as we head into the fourth quarter of 2023, they’ll assess how you can prepare for the future. 

Everything you need to know about Commercial Collections | 20 minutes

We’ll be taking a deep-dive into the challenges currently facing the commercial collections market, and how to overcome them. Presented by Escalate’s Chris Clay and Steve Rose, this talk will leave you feeling informed and prepared on the latest trends in commercial collections.

Must-knows and top challenges with Consumer Collections | 20 minutes

What are the challenges currently bothering consumers, and what do industry professionals need to be aware of as we head into Q4? Led by Matthew Carter MCICM from COEO UK, he’ll discuss overcoming the biggest challenges with consumer collections.
